Privacy Policy — Accrut (Platform-Wide)

Last updated: August 2026 · Version 1.0

This page covers accrut.com, our marketing and product-selection website. Once you sign in and use a specific module, that module's own Privacy Policy governs the business, financial, or employee data you enter there — those policies go into more detail and take precedence for that module's data.

1. Who This Applies To

This policy explains how Accrut ("we", "us", "our") handles data collected through the accrut.com landing site itself — before you sign in to any module. It does not cover data you enter once inside the Accounting/Billing or HR modules; see the module-specific policies linked above for that.

2. Information We Collect on This Site

We do not collect financial, invoicing, inventory, banking, or employee data on this site — that data is only ever collected within the specific module you sign in to, under that module's own privacy policy.

3. How We Use This Information

We use the information above to respond to enquiries, operate and secure the website, understand which pages are useful, and improve the site. We do not use it for third-party advertising and do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. Data Sharing

We may share site data with infrastructure or hosting sub-processors strictly to operate the website, or with government/regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not otherwise share this data with third parties.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data submitted through this site. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions and related correspondence are retained only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your Rights & Grievance Redressal (India — DPDP Act, 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and its Rules, you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal), and the right to nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

Grievance Officer: If you have a complaint about how your personal data has been handled on this website, you may contact our Grievance Officer at anadib1010@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 7 days and resolve them within 30 days, in line with the DPDP Rules, 2025. For data held within a specific module (Accounting/Billing or HR), please raise the request with that module's own Grievance Officer contact instead, since we may need to verify your account/organisation to act on it.

8. Cross-Border Data Storage & Processing

This website and our supporting infrastructure (including hosting, database, and authentication providers) may store or process data on servers located outside India. Under Section 16 of the DPDP Act, 2023, transfer of personal data outside India is permitted by default, except to any country or territory the Central Government specifically restricts by notification. As of the date of this policy, no such restricted list applies to our infrastructure providers. We will update this policy if that changes.

9. Requesting Access, Correction, or Deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data you've submitted through this site (e.g. a contact form message) by writing to the address below. For data held within a specific module (Accounting/Billing or HR), please use that module's privacy contact instead, since we may need to verify your account/organisation to act on the request.

10. Children's Data

This site is intended for business use by adult professionals and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or data requests relating to this website, contact us at: anadib1010@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
