Terms of Service — Accrut (Platform-Wide)

Last updated: August 2026 · Version 1.0

⚠️ Accrut is made up of separate modules, each with its own detailed Terms of Service covering the specific services, calculations, and disclaimers for that module. This page covers the Accrut website and brand as a whole. Once you use a specific module, that module's terms also apply and take precedence for anything relating to that module's services.

1. About This Site

This website (accrut.com) is the marketing and product-selection site operated by Accrut ("we", "us", "our"). From here you can learn about, and navigate to, Accrut's individual software modules: Accounting, Billing & Invoicing, Inventory, Banking (reconciliation), and HR. Each module is a distinct product with its own sign-in, data, and Terms of Service, linked above.

2. Software Tools Only

Accrut provides software tools only. We are not a Chartered Accountant, tax consultant, legal advisor, bank, payment aggregator, payroll provider, or compliance authority. Nothing on this site or within any Accrut module constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, or HR advice. Always verify statutory calculations and filings with a qualified professional.

3. Use of This Website

You agree not to misuse this website — including attempting to gain unauthorised access to any Accrut system, scraping the site at disruptive volume, or using the site's contact channels for spam or unlawful purposes. We may restrict access to the site for security, abuse, or legal reasons.

4. Intellectual Property

The Accrut name, logo, and website content are the property of Accrut and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent, except as necessary to use the Service in the ordinary course.

5. Accounts & Module Access

Creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using any specific module (Accounting/Billing, HR, etc.) is governed by that module's own Terms of Service, which you accept separately at the point of sign-up or sign-in. This page does not itself grant access to any module.

6. Third-Party Links

This site may link to third-party sites (e.g. our privacy policy references Google Sign-In). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accrut is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website. Liability arising from use of a specific module is governed exclusively by that module's Terms of Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved within 30 days, referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in India.

10. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact us at: anadib1010@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
